In case anyone missed the final chapter to this already legendary evening. Geoff, in his attempt to roll back the years and look like he’d rocked up at a festival, by leaving his car door open, dutifully flattened the battery of said vehicle. A socially distanced bump-start was thus required, following a protracted discussion about whether a diesel car could be used to jump-start a petrol one, or vice versa, before it was finally realized that no-one had any jump leads anyway.
